01About PTX Painting

PTX Painting is a professional painting company providing high-end residential and commercial painting services across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. PTX Painting also operates Faux Time Design and ReNew Cabinet Painting as related service brands.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website at www.ptxpainting.com, submission of estimate requests, receipt of SMS communications, and engagement of our painting services.

02Services

PTX Painting provides interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, faux finish, and related services to residential and commercial clients. All services are subject to a written project agreement or estimate signed by both parties prior to commencement of work.

We reserve the right to decline any project request at our discretion. Acceptance of an estimate or deposit does not guarantee a start date unless a specific schedule is confirmed in writing.

03Estimates & Payments

Estimates provided by PTX Painting are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise noted. Estimates are based on site conditions at the time of inspection and are subject to revision if conditions change.

• A deposit is required to reserve your project start date as specified in your written agreement
• Progress payments may be required for larger projects as outlined in the project agreement
• Final payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge

PTX Painting accepts payment via check, ACH transfer, and major credit cards. Credit card payments may be subject to a processing fee as disclosed at time of payment.

04Scheduling & Cancellations

Scheduled project dates are subject to change due to weather conditions, site access issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice of any rescheduling.

If you need to cancel or postpone your project, please notify us at least 5 business days in advance. Cancellations made with less than 5 business days notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit or a cancellation fee as outlined in your project agreement.

PTX Painting reserves the right to suspend or terminate work on a project if site conditions are deemed unsafe, if payment is not received as agreed, or if the client is unresponsive for more than 3 business days during an active project.

05SMS Communications Program

PTX Painting operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with customers and employees/subcontractors regarding projects, scheduling, and operations.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. PTX Painting is not responsible for any charges incurred through your mobile carrier in connection with SMS communications.

PTX Painting does not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for their independent use.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

06Website Use

Your use of our website at www.ptxpainting.com is subject to these Terms & Conditions. You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information via any form
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from the website without written permission

PTX Painting reserves the right to refuse service, terminate access, or take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates these terms or engages in abusive or fraudulent conduct.

07Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, photography, logos, graphics, and project imagery — is the property of PTX Painting and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.

08Limitation of Liability

PTX Painting carries general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage as required by law. In the event of property damage or injury caused directly by our work, our liability is limited to the value of the contracted services for the affected portion of the project and limited to insurance policies in place.

Please request a Certificate of Insurance from us if you are concerned about our coverage.

PTX Painting is not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage resulting from client-supplied materials, damage concealed prior to project commencement, or delays caused by factors beyond our control including weather, material shortages, or site access issues.

In no event shall PTX Painting’s total liability exceed the total amount paid by the client under the applicable project agreement.

09Warranty

PTX Painting warrants all labor for a period of two (2) year from the date of project completion, provided that:

• The painted surfaces were properly prepared and primed per our standard process
• The surfaces have not been subject to abnormal wear, abuse, or modification
• Manufacturer-specified materials were used as outlined in the project agreement

This warranty covers defects in workmanship only and does not cover normal fading, chalking, or wear over time. Material warranties are governed by the respective product manufacturer. This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original client only.

10Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or our services shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in New Jersey in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Nothing in this section limits either party’s right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

11Privacy

Your use of our services and website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12Changes to These Terms

PTX Painting reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services or website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
